Untuk memulai menggunakan Virtual DJ, anda hanya cukup membuka music library anda dan lakukan drag-and-drop pada file music yang tersedia ke dalam deck virtual DJ. Disana terdapat fitur BPM Counter untuk membantu anda menilai transmini antara deck satu dengan deck lainnya.
Disana akan ditampilkan gelombang visual untuk membantu anda memberi isyarat atas musik yang anda mix. Virtual DJ dapat juga menetapkan tingkat suara dan mengubah bass serta treble secara mudah. Jika adan tidak ingin khawatir tentang transisi anda, maka tekanlah tombol mix otomatis dan biarkan Virtual DJ akan melakukan pekerjaan anda.
Virtual DJ v7.0 Pro menyediakan dukungan untuk merekam music hasil mixing yang anda lakukan, hal ini sangat baik khususnya bagi anda yang masih dalam tahap belajar.
